Allentown, PA Baby Sleep Help

Why Choose Sleepyhead Consulting LLC

Where you and your little one will learn to get the sleep you need through a personalized, gentle, step-by-step plan created specially for you and your child. "Sweet dreams, Sleepyhead!"

‚ÄčAre you up all hours of the night with that little bundle of joy? Feeling exhausted? Running out of ideas to try to get your little one sleeping through the night? Don’t have the energy anymore to battle your child at bedtime? Are nap times nonexistent?

Or maybe you’re trying to be everything to everyone, feeling worn thin, and feeling like you can’t get your child to do the most natural thing he could possibly do (aside from eating and pooping)?!

You don’t have to be that parent.

The Philosophy

When parents entrust me as their child’s sleep coach through one-on-one consultations, they are placing a great deal of trust in me. I take this responsibility very seriously.

While most books and programs dealing with child sleep issues take an opinionated or judgmental stand, I believe that your child’s sleep is more important than my personal views on the subject. The bottom line is that you, as a parent, need to be comfortable with your new sleep plan in order for it to work for your child.

As a baby sleep consultant serving in Allentown, Pennsylvania and around the world, my approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:

The Plan

I'll lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that lets you make some choices about what is the right approach for your child. All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. I encourage you to use your knowledge of your child to customize his or her sleep plan.

I'll show you how to measure success. No, you shouldn't expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night-- although it does happen! I'll tell you what you should expect along the way.

About the crying question...

A bit about the “crying” question: Since people always ask me about whether my solutions involve “crying it out,” I think it’s something that should be addressed. Crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and you can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some protest. That’s why I’m always sure to tell parents that my program will most likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part.

Please understand that I will never ask you leave your child to cry alone, nor will will I ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that I am so effective is that I develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.

If you have any questions about the approach I use, please do not hesitate to ask. Together we can teach your little one how to sleep through the night!
